Travel Grant to the 3rd Training School, of the BIONECA COST action, 07-10 October 2019, Chania (Crete), Greece.

Georgia has worked on the production and characterization of polymeric nanocomposite materials in the past and is currently examining processes to isolate plant-derived extracellular vesicles. She has been awarded a travel grant to a consortium working on nano to macro biomaterials and applications thereof on regenerative orthopedic and dental medicine.

Georgia has worked in a range of different workplaces to expand her social and professional skillset. As a result, she has gained experience as a design engineer at a renowned construction company (excelling in architectural woodworking) and worked on several archaeological excavation sites.
